Phil: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in his last three majors.
Els: 2nd, 9th, and 2nd in his last three majors.
You can just smell the Battle Royale brewing. With Phil, Els, and Vijay all playing well, you know they are all hunting to take the #1 ranking crown away from Tiger. So many scenarios for Tiger to lose the crown this week, the scores so far seem to have already written a foregone conclusion: Tiger will be losing a spot in the rankings by next week.
