Today marks the anniversary of Payne Stewart’s passing. I still remember hearing about this on the 14th hole of a college golf tournament that I played in. It made me stop and remember how prescious life actually is and how unimportant it was that I had bogied the last 3 holes. Tweet This Post

Ernie Els won his 3d straight HSBC Match Play Championship, defeating Lee Westwood. Meanwhile, Sergio Garcia won the Mallorca Classic in Spain by 4 shots. Ernie Els held off Thomas Bjorn to win the Amex on a rainy day in Ireland. The win for Els catapulted him to No. 2 in the world rankings. Tiger finished 9th in the tournament. Tweet This Post
