Today marks the anniversary of Payne Stewart’s passing. I still remember hearing about this on the 14th hole of a college golf tournament that I played in. It made me stop and remember how prescious life actually is and how unimportant it was that I had bogied the last 3 holes.

The PGA Tour has rights to Real Time Scoring

The Supreme Court decided not to hear a case which allows the PGA Tour to hold the rights of real-time scoring at its events. For a couple law folk like the posters at thegolfblog.com, this is a pretty cool development.



ernie wins amex, pushes tiger down to No. 3

Ernie Els held off Thomas Bjorn to win the Amex on a rainy day in Ireland. The win for Els catapulted him to No. 2 in the world rankings. Tiger finished 9th in the tournament.
