rain, rain, go away

Maybe Retief Goosen knew about the bad weather because it looks like he didn't miss anything by being DQ'd. The Nissan Open has been drenched with rain. Only 36 holes have been completed. Chad Campbell and Adam Scott are tied at -9, with a host of others chasing. Tiger's at -5. Leaderboard here. They're going to try to tee off at 7:30 a.m., but that's only if the weather cooperates.

Meanwhile, the Match Play Championship is this week, so all those guys who skipped the Nissan (like VJay and Phil) may have an edge.

UPDATE: Well, the weather didn't cooperate. They couldn't play any more today, except a sudden death playoff between Adam Scott and Chad Campbell. Scott won, parring the 1st hole of sudden death. The win doesn't officially count, though, because it was after 36 holes.

I found it interesting that this was Adam Scott's first PGA Tour win on a non-TPC course.
Also, what's up with the comments advertising products? Although I did have to check out Budda's balls, although it wasn't quite as entertaining as I hoped.
I also found this funny on two levels: "Ratief Goosen is going to win the hole thing"
