Notables as Predicted Drop Out of Sugar Loaf

As could be expected, the following players withdrew/DNS at the Bell South Classic

Woosnam
DiMarco
Flesch
Appleby
Donald

All of which would have had to play 36 holes on Monday before the Masters.

Man, I'm excited for the Masters!!

Ohhh...Mickelson's still playing. Not well, grant you, but why would you want to spend a Monday at Sugarloaf than at Augusta getting ready to defend your championship. Oh, that's right, Phil said he planned on taking Monday off anyway for the Masters, so the 36 hole deal at the BellSouth wouldn't be a problem (it has now been shortened to 18 on Monday). Unless he learned nothing from the Ryder Cup, he better miss the cut at the BellSouth, take the rental car up the road to Augusta, and work a few pounds off his double D manboobs walking the course. Otherwise he can kiss his chances goodbye. Or, he can work for a win at a possible 36 hole event and get a win with an asterisk as Adam Scott did earlier this year.

Well...look at Philly Cheesesteak. someone lit a fire under Phil today. Looks like he will try to get himself a win before the Masters. With a limited field, and conditions requiring touch, who can blame him.
