More on Natalie Gulbis's reality show: it's going to be on The Golf Channel, starting July 19. Hopefully, they'll get some airtime for Ben Roethlisberger. The show will no doubt do better than the Big Break III did for The Golf Channel.

I am a golf addict. I TIVO items for sleepless nights, whether they are Playing Lessons from the Pros that I have already watched, or small Club Pro tournaments in my area on those chaneels you forget about. But I have yet to watch BB III until last night. It is unwatchable. Here is a summary...one participant shanked a sand shot into the trees, and shanked another over the green. She made it through to the next round. A 45-50 year old woman (either that or she lives on the sun) beat the others handily by making pars. And per the comments, I guess she has been doing this on a regular basis. The other two are long hitters comparatively, but had a hard time hitting greens (or anywhere close to a flag) from ~80 yards.
This is who will go through to the LPGA? Is this the best they could find? I have 16 years olds at my local club who would mop the floor with these gals.
I have got to think that the Golf Channel took a bath changing up the format, and that it will never happen again. Now...back to Playing Lessons from the Pro with Daly, where he will demonstrate how to hit a 300 yard drive off a Diet Coke can.
