So who did 15-year old Michelle Wie beat today at the John Deere Classic? Well, about 63 male tour pro golfers or so. Full leaderboard here. Michelle posted a -1, 7 shots back from the leader Hunter Mahan, who shot an amazing 8-under 63 (but was overshadowed in the press by Wie). The Big Wiesy's score beat the likes of:

She's in good position to make the cut tomorrow.
15 year old beating the golf pros. Imagine having a couple of beers in the bar after the game... how could you possibly lift your head up high if you have been on the top previously and today been beaton by a mere kid.
The question every pro needs to consider is when is it time for you to stop playing professionally? Would you rather choose a suitable time for exit or be pushed out by someone who is totally unknown?

I think it's pretty wicked awesome, that Michelle Wie is playing well on the PGA Tour. As to David Gossett, he's going through a tough time, he WILL be back. He is showing signs of improvement, he just shot 74-71-145, in the Cox Classic. Although he missed the cut. Improvement is improvement no matter what. And by the way, he could kick your Mom's ass(nothing personal):)
