British Open: Tiger and Jack
So here’s an interesting pattern reported today by Reuters: just about every time Jack has bid farewell at a tournament, Tiger has won. Said Tiger: “I wish he’d keep retiring. I won at Valhalla (the 2000 U.S. PGA Championship) and at Pebble Beach (the 2000 U.S. Open), and then here (in 2000). And then Augusta (National for the U.S. Masters) this year. Hopefully, we can do it again. It’s been very good so far.”
