Digital divot: what's your handicap?
There's a cool site called Digital divot, which provides a free service to calculate your handicap. Check it out. As the site says:

Great site. I have been looking for something like this for a long time.
I am a software developer and seriously considered building something like this at one time, but they have done a much better job. The most prohibitive thing about something like this is getting the course data. It was going to cost me upwards of $10,000/year for course data. The alternateive, it to have have the users enter the course data as needed and build your own database as Digital Divot has. Thanks for the link.
This site is amazing . . . so clean and user friendly. Wow I can't believe it's FREE!

Just a reminder, the handicap from this site can't be used in Amatuer tournaments that requie a USGA handicap. Before I got my USGA handicap I looked into some of these handicap sites but since I wanted to compete, none of them would work.
The site is terrific, though. A web community can really get a site like this going.

Digital Divot: Simply put is amazing ,been using it for months(11). Well designed and very user friendly.I would recommend this site to any golfer looking to keep track of their stats. Best thing is it's FREE!!
