Bigger comeback: Seve or Duval?
Who is making a bigger comeback this year:
1. Seve Ballesteros playing this week in his 1st tournament in 2 years and shooting 77 at the Madrid Open?
2. David Duval making 1 cut this year and shooting -2 after 14 holes today in Las Vegas?

David Duval makes the cut on six under. This has to be the story of the year!
I fear he misses by one shot. The 36-hole cut of 6-under par matches the lowest cut in the history of the PGA TOUR in relation to par. Sadly Duval only managed -5.
I really feel bad for DD. His game has really gone to hell-in-a-handbag the last couple years. One cut the entire year...makes one wonder even how he'd do on the Nationwide Tour. He'd probably retire before taking a step backwards like that.
Duval actually lives in the same town as do I and I've run across him several times at our local Publix (that's a grocery store for you out-of-towners). I approached him once in the frozen food isle and asked why he wasn't with the tour in Hawaii that week. Said he hates that course. I believe it was the Sony tourney from 2003. He was extremely nice and didn't act arrogant or standoffish in any way.
I certainly hope he can regain his previous form. I'm definately rooting for him.
peace....Ooogy
