Fact or fiction: Michelle Wie will win 1st tourney as pro this week

Tiger Woods placed 60th at his first tourney as a pro in 1996 (Greater Milwaukee Open). Michelle Wie will win her first tourney as a pro this week (Samsung World Championship), fact or fiction?

UPDATE: This was originally posted on Wednesday. We received some skeptical comments of Michelle's chances of winning. Today, Michelle posted the low round of the day, 65, to vault into 2nd place with Annika and Paula Creamer, 2 behind leader Grace Park. Now, we're talking!! If Michelle wins, that will be the BIGGEST story in golf this year. Sorry, Annika and Tiger. Any takers?

Fiction. Here last win any win, was in 2005, no wait 2004, no wait 2003, June 2003. By my count, she is on about an 0 for 25 streak. I guess I am not sure how turning pro does anything beyond adding to the pressure to perform now that she can keep the prize money and has sponsors paying her big dollars to represent product.

Of course I could be wrong but that is why I will be watching.

Fiction, but I bet she makes the cut. Oh, thats right, everyone does...10K for last place.
Michelle was the player to watch in the practice rounds...a few watching Annica and others, but they were stacked deep around Michelle.
Annika needs to win the next two tournaments to get her winning percentage to 50%. Scary.
Ahhh...back to the original question. Big name tourney... expect Wie to finish middle of the pack. Annika owns Bighorn... she's got my bet.
Remember Battle at Bighorn?... drive for show, accuracy for dough. Friend/member took me there. Will confuse the heck out of Wie as a first timer.
You know...at this age, Tiger hadn't even played a PGA event yet, so they are both 0 for something in professional wins at this point in their lives.
It will be interesting to see how long the PGA events will keep inviting her before they stop making money off of her, and make her qualify. John Deere sure made a bundle off her though... can't imagine getting those 7 exemptions a year will be tough in the next few years.
