Nicklaus caddy Angelo Argea dies

AP's reporting that long time Nicklaus caddie Angelo Argea died yesterday of liver cancer at the age of 75. Nicklaus will issue a personal statement later.

Wrote a great book, "The Bear and I."
Was fired when he did not walk the course the day before a tournament and didn't have the yardages down. Got cocky with all his success, but much deserved, and was given a high position in a golf business after being fired.
And the poor guy was denied being on Jack's bag at Augusta for years or he would have had a few more majors.
Paid his dues to be in the Caddy Hall of Fame, for sure.
