First off, I would like to thank the Golf Blog for many hours of enjoyment these last few months and more specifically for the box of Nike Platinums from the September Question of the Month. The one time I was on a course since I got them I lowered my P.B. for that course by 4 strokes.
Next I would like to thank Andrew, because without him, I would not be AndrewsDad. I would like to thank my parents because without them, I would not be here. Finally I would like to thank all of the players we have watched during the year, Tiger, Annika, Phil, Retief, Vijay, Paula, Michelle… am I forgetting anyone? I hope not. Ok, I hear the music playing so I better wrap this up.. I love you guys.
There's gotta be some worst award for Vince Cellini. Just gotta be something.
I'd like to add a category to this list...
Most excited to watch in 2006:
Ryan Moore; [RU: Bill Haas]
maybe I don't count, but I think my alias should have received at least runner up.
Hopefully, David Duval is pulling out of his "worst" slump with his encouraging recent performance in Asia.
Agree with your Nicklaus as best ever.
The question is, will Tiger surpass the Golden Bear in majors won? (He's halfway there.)
I invite my blogging colleagues at The Golf Blog (and others) to vote in my Tiger/Jack mini poll at the Armchair Golf Blog.
Best,
The Armchair Golfer
Ryan Moore!!

Yes, I would like to thank the academy for bestowing on me such a prestigous award.
However, the fact is that my alias is stolen from a punch line of a funny, albeit crass, golf joke.
Here it goes:
A detective arrives at a murder crime scene -- finds a man with blood splattered on his shirt and a bloody 7 iron laying on the floor.
The detective pulls out his little notebook and writes down all the details of the crime as he begins questioning the suspected husband, "my gawd man this woman is beat up terribly, exactly how many times did ya hit her?"
The suspect responds, "Let's see...I 1st hit her on the left, then on the right, then back to the left then I swung and missed and then...ahhh shit, just PUT ME DOWN FOR A 6
David Duval is the worst slump for 2005? Let's see...he didn't play in 2004, thus he made no money, and this year he earned $7,630. I'd say he was imnproving.
Now, to actually put some thought into it, I'd say you have 4 choices:
Todd Hamilton: went from 11th in 2004 to 134th in 2005, but the major was the only reason for the 2004 placement, anyway.
Weir: 14th to 56th. Seems like a small fall, but he is the Gretsky of golf...expectations are higher.
Sabbatini: 16th to 89th. Looked like he was going to crack the top 10 this year, and nothing happened except him getting his panties in a wad over Ben Crane's speed on the course.
And my pick: Stephen Ames. He won me so much money in 2004, winning and finishing in the top 10 almost every week. He was agimmee pick. Then he did squat, and sat on an egg this year, going from 8th on the money list in 2004 to 83rd in 2005.
I'd comment on some of the other awards, but gotta head to Tahoe.
after that sick joke by Down for a 6, I want a recount for the best alias. mine's better.
SECRETS OF A TEE TIME GIRL: Golfers, Scandals and the Beverage Cart
Nicole Kallis has written a book that takes a look into the good, the bad, and the perverted of what really happens from the vantage point of the beverage cart girl.
The beverage cart girl always interests me. Hey, I'm a guy, I like checking out pretty women when I'm out on the golf course doing some male bonding with my buddies. And because it gets hot in Florida, I'm always thirsty.
You would almost think that if I told you a beverage cart girl, or in Nicole's case the self-proclaimed Quench Wench, had written an interesting book about golf that it was a joke. You're thinking I've talked to those chicks before, they're a couple of clubs short of a set. But believe you me Nicole Kallis is a smart beverage cart girl with a great sense of humor. And to top it off she has a nice rack. This book is the real deal, it's a must read for all golfers.
Along the way, the book points out good things to do with the Cart Girl as well as one big no, no. After reading this book you'll have a whole new view on the job of the beverage cart girl and the importance of the cart girl to the golf experience. Nicole Kallis currently works at The Mt. Woodson Golf Club in San Diego as a Beverage Cart Girl.
To my readers, No Three Putts wants you to check out Nicole's website: TeeTimeGirl.com Then email Nicole and tell her you want a copy of her book.
goldgolfer.com has pga tour players official sites
How about we all e-mail Nicole and ask her how much she had to sell her soul for to get a book published on cart girls. Kudos to Nicole on that one.
Next up...a book on the experience of club cleaners and the phrases they love to say:
"So, how'd you play, Mr. Golfer who has run out of pencil lead after nine holes?"
"Kinda wet out there, Mr. Golfer who has a mud-stain running down his pant leg?"
"How'd you like the course, and can I clean the 7 clubs you haven't snapped in half?"
"Want me to carry your clubs into your car for $5, Mr. Golfer, since we don't allow carts in the parking lot?"
