Pat perez shot 60 on the first day at the Bob Hope. 16 of 18 greens in regulation, 11 of 13 fairways in regulation, 22 putts. Looked like a Duval round of the past, where if he could have only eagled one of the par 5s or birdied one of the two he made par on, a 59 was his.
Now the fun is predicting the over/under on the number of clubs he breaks in his next four rounds when he gives the tournament away (anyone remember the AT&T?).
And Duval with another solid round, -3, 69. Are we starting to see a pattern? I hope so.
