The Natalie (valentine's) report
Happy Valentine's Day! I am in Hawaii for the LPGA event hosted at Turtle Bay on Oahu. I spent the last few weeks dialing in my clubs with TaylorMade and my swing with Butch. After having my driver and 4-iron snagged at my home course, I have been testing drivers to find one to replace it. The 4-iron was easy to replace, but for the driver I decided on the new TaylorMade 425 with a Fujikura X shaft. I hope that you all have a wonderful Valentine's Day and tell your love ones how lucky you are to have them in your life. Aloha! - Natalie (more here on Nat's site)

Dear Nat,
What would I do to tug on that braid that is attached to the back of your head? I heard, "That Nat is so hot right now!"
I do not respect you, I just like looking at you. Waiting for your swimsuit calendar to come in the mail. Disrespect NAT to your sell out to "sex sells".
This comment was spawned after the fact of seeing your swimsuit calendar on her website, which I think is pretty lame that there even is one. Im waiting for my John Daly, Davies, or Nancy Lopez swimsuit calendar. Ohh yeah! Psych!
Nat, get over yourself. I DONT want you to be my valentine. Give me back my conversation hearts!

Dear Nat,
I noticed that you make regular trips to Hawaii to gather up that abundant black lava to make that stylish raccoon make-up look. My question is...how do you get your man to adore you? I have applied a half-inch of make-up, set up the 80s hairdo like the one you display on the LPGA web site, and even pimped a homemade calendar (of poloroid shots of myself in a swimsuit) to the local football team. No luck.
You are my biggest idol! And such a great role model for other young golfers like myself. On a side note, does anyone mistake you for Anna Kournikova? Just wondering, since you haven't won, yet you make a lot of money submitting a picture of yourself in a bathing suit to every magazine out there.

you boys are being a little harsh!
I kinda like her swing...it's very mean looking. Her make up is crap, but nothing a nice hot load couldn't fix.
I don't think Natalie WANTS your valentine, osultimate! The candy would probably be all cruddy inside, or, better yet, she probably would open the box and find it empty!

Dear Anonymous,
My milkshake is better than yours. Damn right its better than yours.
In jest,

I respect Nat as a golfer, but was truly disappointed when I saw that lame calendar. Kinda hilarious, but not really amusing. Now M.Pressel...now we are talking. Pop that Kollar Morgan.
You guys are brutal.
Now I am the first to admit, Nat would not be my first choice, in fact if there was an Olympic events called "AndrewsDad ranks the best looking LPGA players" and it was limited to Nat and everyone that finished ahead of her on the money list, she would not medal. But some of the posts are cheap shots.
Agreed...my comments were harsh.
The problem I have with Nat is her bandwagon on the publicity train...Reality Mix, Calendar, Photo Op in every magazine known to me. Creamer, Pressel, May, Wood, and even Wie all have the looks to go the path of Nat, but they chose a path that promotes thamselves, and in my mind, is less demeaning of women's sports in aggregate.
She is trying to get herself in the public eye to possible get more sponsor money. It is an occupation. I get it. But the way she went about it rubs me the wrong way. She glorified herself through a bathing suit, not by her golf talent, and it reminds me of stunts pulled by certain female tennis professionals. Skipping Kournikova, the williams sisters had all the talent in the world, and yet they went the same path, and I do not have the same admiration for them as I have for other female athletes who promoted themselves differently.
To put it in comparison with a male athlete, it will take some time for me ever to take Aaron "Bads" seriously after his horrible advertising route.
Same situation...it promotes yourself, but in my mind, it negatively promotes your sport.
