2006 NCAA Women's Championships Begin Today
For those college golf fans, the NCAA Women's Championships started this morning at the newly redesigned Scarlet Course at The Ohio State University. (Ohio State's Coverage)
I am sure that we will have coverage of the changes and events happening in Columbus on TGB, but for those who want up-to-date coverage check out the scores at Golfstat.com
As for my quick prediction, you cannot go against the Duke Women... They are really, really good!

As a former Blue Devils, kudos to you, Jason.
As for the NCAA women, last year my golf trip was to the RTJ Trail in Alabama at this time of year, and the NCAAs were being held at one of the RTJ Trail courses in Auburn, Alabama while we were there. Not only did we get to play on the same course as the girls at the same time, but we were able to watch them hit on the range. A remarkable amount of talent coming through the college ranks.
While I may not know the names, it was as interesting as watching an LPGA event.
All the NCAA women seem to play with titleist golf balls, just something I noticed! - David G, Ohio
well, vaguely, i guess. it is kind of the most popular brand in golf!! there are a few nike-sponsored ones as well i think.
