Another Mulligan -- the google for golf?
Trolling through the email sent by our readers, we found one really cool service entitled "Another Mulligan." Sorry, no relation.
Basically, it's a search engine for golf related material--a google for golf, if you will. You can find the site at www.anothermulligan.com. Happy surfing!

I found this thing to be terrible. Compare the results for "Putting Tips" with this, and then with Google.
Agreed...put in entries and always got back the same web sites...

OK, I think you guys are being a little unfair. This site is just starting up. Give them some time.
The idea is creative. I'm sure it's not all that easy to perfect the system. Google itself was not borne overnight. Give 'em some credit for trying to do this.
The Golf Blog has no affiliation with these guys. But we would like to see good ideas blossom.
Hey guys, I just saw thegolfblog.com in our web logs so I thought I would comment.
Basically, Another Mulligan was created to be a search engine that was just golf sites - relevant golf sites. Anyone can suggest a site into the index so we can crawl the content if it's a good site about golf. As Power Fade said, we don't have a ton of sites yet...
We populated the site with some good golf resources to start with, but the thought was that golfers would help up build the search engine - with sites that are relevant to the game.
Where Google just crawls everything, we thought being selective on user based content would be a great service for folks.
The entire idea of Another Mulligan stemmed after a buddy of mine and I decided to create another site - Plenty of Tee Times - after getting frustrated of having to login to see tee time data for any course, we decided to launch an aggregation service for folks that travel or want to search the cheapest tee times nationwide.
I hope you guys enjoy our sites, they are both fairly new and we are excited about both of them!
