What next for Brittany Lincicome?
Brittany Lincicome is blonde, blue-eyed, and can bomb the ball off the tee. She's got a cute smile, but a razor sharp competitive edge. Brittany's only 20 years old, but just won the Match Play tournament, defeating the likes of Michelle Wie and Julie Inkster.
So what's next for Brittany?
A. Will move into Top 5 players on LPGA tour
B. Will become known as best young, blonde on tour
C. At least reporters will know how to spell her name
D. Nothing. Will receive no more fame or attention than Marisa Baena did for winning Match Play last year

Britany is a tremendous young talent, but her game is far from complete. The "Farm" was totally setup for her game. Huge fairways, and large greens. She was 5 up and dropped two holes with boggies because she failed each time to get up and down from a fairly easy lie just off the green.
Let's face it, Gulbis garners more attention than she deserves (i.e. Anna K), and Creamer and Pressel have very impressive resume's. I would say this tourny has put Brittany on the same level as Morgan, but Creamer's resume is still much more impressive; Rookie of the Year, 2nd in Money, two wins (kicked butt at the Evian Masters), and whippin' Laura Davies and essentially anchoring the US Women's Solheim team.
She wins again this year, and learns to play a short game like a pro instead of like me, and she's got to be considered for to young US player.
Considering how the Rolex Rankings work, doesn't this automatically make her #1 in the world, followed by Wie and Dakota respectively?
No kidding! Michelle Wie being ranked above the likes of Lorena Ochoa is quite ridiculous!
hey thx waxman for proposing a zappout! i'd suggest leaving the wax for the girls ;)
Brittany is a great player; she was in the pairing behind me last year at the US Open and we could feel her tee shots getting close to us as we were walking down the fairway. She's had a strong year as a rookie building her mental game; this year she's been more on than off; this is the natural evolution of a solid player who honed her mental game over the last 1 1/2 season.
Way to go Britt!
Off to my East Coast Swing starting today in CT.
