Michelle Wie fires another caddie?

Maybe as a gift for her 17th birthday, someone can find Michelle Wie a caddie she likes. The Golf Blog's own mulligan has offered to carry her bag, but Michelle has yet to call. This past year, the Wie camp fired Greg Johnston, somewhat unceremoniously on the cell phone on his way to the airport. Before that, Michelle Wie has been through a bevy of caddies, including Brian Smallwood, Fanny Sunneson, her former swing coach Gary Gilchrist, and several times, her father B.J. Wie.

Since the firing of Greg Johnston, Wie has had Andrew Lano on the bag. Lano's had 20 years experience caddying for Kenny Perry. Well, The Golf Blog has received an unconfirmed report that Lano has already been let go after two short events on the PGA tour. This raises the question: how hard is it to carry around some golf clubs?

I'd love to carry her clubs...hell, I'd eat broken glass out her hand. Such is the extent of my admiration.

Happy Birthday Michelle.

Um, whatever happened, I doubt he could have been fired unless he was officially hired, under contract. Which I doubt happened. Most likely the two PGA events was a try-out for him and they want to keep looking.

P.S. Johnston was not fired by a phone call.

Yea, your right. He was fired standing at the gate boarding his airplane back to the states....by their agent!

Big difference! What is your point?
