Michelle Wie has a new putter and caddie

Michelle Wie has a new putter, switching to a smaller head in the style of Tiger's putter (although not sure what kind it is). Wie also has a new caddie on the bag this week. Photo is here. It's back to Fanny Sunesson (Faldo's old caddie) for the second time (more here). Unfortunately, Michelle kinda struggled today, shooting a 74.

Annika Sorenstam and Lorena Ochoa, playing together, tied for the lead at -5. Full leaderboard.

She might as well putt with a hockey stick or Louisville Slugger for all I care. Michelle is a bust!

Wie needs a wrist watch, according the the AP story from the original post:
QUOTE
PALM DESERT, Calif. -- Michelle Wie didn't exactly steal the show Thursday at the Samsung World Championship.

Wie needed a half-hour to play the 14th hole and ended with a quadruple-bogey 8.
If anything, she held it up.

Starting her second year as a pro, Wie took a half-hour to play the 14th hole at Bighorn with two rulings, a whiff, an unplayable lie from a desert bush and a shot off the cement cart path just to get back to the fairway. She wound up with a quadruple-bogey 8 on the shortest par-4 at Bighorn, sending her to a 2-over 74.

Would someone tell me why Michelle Wie wants to play with the men? She can't seem to beat the ladies, what in the world is wrong with that girl? Phenom? I think not.
