Bob May poised to secure PGA tour card

Just an hour ago, Bob May stood outside of the Top 30, and, unfortunately, he had already completed his round shooting 2-under for an 8-under total. Now, however, the leaderboard has shifted dramatically, pulling Bob May into a mega-tie for 30th.

I'm no math expert, but it seems all but assured that Bob May clinches his tour card. Kudos, Bob!

Congrats to Bob May and all the other 39 qualifyers for the 2007 PGA season. Now can anyof them step up and challenge Tiger?

THE GHOST OF GOLFING PAST

A haunting question still remains
About Tiger in the Woods
I wonder why no one complains
Hearing obvious falsehoods

The PGA Championship
Nearly seven years ago
Fell prey to more than gamesmanship
As a full review might show

Golf commentators soon clammed up
Though some scenes had raised a brow
May would have won that treasured cup
His performance was a wow

That playoff was a stunning one
As they battled head to head
Till Tiger's driving came undone
Though he may have been mislead

He clearly had some outside aid
From two fans who chased his ball
That lie could never have been played
From that bush as I recall

One kept onlookers far away
Whilst the other went inside
And threw the ball back into play
With no penalty applied

For seconds it was out of sight
Ere like magic it appeared
The record should be set aright
Even though no name be smeared

Results may never be reversed
But the glory should be shared
Bob May in my mind did come first
Simple truth must be declared
