Ernie Els captures 1st victory in 2006

Ernie Els won the South African Open, beating Trevor Immelman, who held the lead after the third round. Ernie shot 65 today, to win at -24 for the tourney. "There were a lot of different emotions going on today," admitted Els. "I view the South African Open like I do a major, and that's how I played this week." (More from TGC)

This is a great win for Ernie. We expect great things from him in '07.

This is not Els's first victory since his injury: he won the Dunhill Championship in December '05 (it might have been Nov'05), an event that counted for the 2006 European Tour.

It will be great to see you back in the thick of the action. I am an experienced Pga Coach and Inner game specialist with caddying experience on the tour back in 2004 /05. I am seeking a regular position for this year. I believe I could be a great benefit to you in your 3 year quest. I know this sounds like some wacko but I can assure you I am serious and very capable.ndbpga@yahoo.co.uk
