Wie out for 1st women's major
Because of a wrist injury sustained from a fall while running a while back, Michelle Wie has pulled out of this week's Kraft Nabisco Championship. "While the rehabilitation of her wrist is on schedule, Michelle wants to make sure she gives fans everything she can the next time she steps on the course," said a rep for the Wie camp. "She's not there yet." (More from TGC)
This is a big loss for the LPGA. Wie is the biggest draw for the women. There's no one else who can generate as much TV interest as her.
This injury also is a bit worrisome for Michelle Wie. I don't know enough about her medical report, but I do know from my own nagging wrist injury that it doesn't help one's golf game.

give it a rest..she is worthless..she hasn't even won a junior championship and she thinks she can play with the men...who is she kidding - only herself.
All her money comes from Nike...leave it to Nike to financially support yet another loser, Tanya Harding sound familiar?
Let Wie stay home...there are other better, more professional, mature players to watch and be grateful for...
There is no injury to her wrist. She is just trying to avoid another humiliation on the links.
