Because of a wrist injury sustained from a fall while running a while back, Michelle Wie has pulled out of this week’s Kraft Nabisco Championship. “While the rehabilitation of her wrist is on schedule, Michelle wants to make sure she gives fans everything she can the next time she steps on the course,” said a rep for the Wie camp. “She’s not there yet.” (More from TGC)

This is a big loss for the LPGA. Wie is the biggest draw for the women. There’s no one else who can generate as much TV interest as her.

This injury also is a bit worrisome for Michelle Wie. I don’t know enough about her medical report, but I do know from my own nagging wrist injury that it doesn’t help one’s golf game.
