Wilson birdies 3rd playoff hole to win Honda

This morning, Mark Wilson birdied the 3rd playoff hole to win The Honda Classic, edging out Jose Coceres, who made par. (Note: Camilo Villegas and Boo Weekley bogied the 2nd playoff hole and were eliminated)

Last night, prior to suspending play due to darkness, I had the opportunity to watch Mark make a 30 footer to save par. And, this morning, he added to his stellar putting by making his 11th putt outside of 10 feet for birdie on the 17th hole.

Congrats Mark!

What was it that good ol' Booboy was chewing on that caused him to expectorate so much? Whatever it was, it sure caused him to choke on the 72nd hole.

Mark Wilson was penalized earlier in the week two strokes for a comment his caddy made (saying what degree the hybrid was on the tee, thus giving information to an opponent). He handled it with such class. He got into the playoff, made a save on the first playoff hole after driving it into the water, and deserves the win.

You forgot to mention that Wilson sunk a 30plus footer for par on the 1st playoff hole, after he sunk about about a 10 footer on the final hole of regulation to save par again.

That guy was putting lights out.
