The PGA held a contest for the caddies on tour at the No. 17 TPC Sawgrass. You can read more in today’s Times. According to the article, “Ray Farnell, Greg Owen’s caddie, left his shot 5 feet 3 inches from the hole and walked away with a watch, a plaque and a decent chunk of spending money.” Tiger’s caddie, Steve Williams, also hit the green, but some 38 feet away.

Finally a great idea from the PGA!
