Phil Mickelson wins TPC

Phil Mickelson deserves a lot of credit. He didn't wallow in self-pity after losing the U.S. Open on the 72nd hole. He finally took a look at his swing flaws and decided to make a change in hiring Butch Harmon. Well, after only 3 weeks with Butch, there are already signs of improvements with Phil's driving. His swing is a little shorter (although still past parallel), and he seems in better balance.

OK, I'll give Butch Harmon some credit, too. But if I were Butch, Phil would be my No.1 horse right now, not Adam Scott. Butch, though, says Adam's No.1.

Phil looked in control the whole tournament. The said part was watching Sean O'Hair drop 2 in the drink on the 17th hole.

Should be a good year for Phil Mickelson and I am looking forward to the US Open.

until phil mickelson wins 7 events in a row and wins 9/12 im not going to consider that he even has a shot at doing anything tigeresque ever in his life.... tiger woods will notice this, and will respond, it's stupid to say that these changes are even a result of butch harmon anyway.... btw phil, hope u can win the us open by 15...........FAG

I was really hoping to see an 18th hole showdown between O'Hair and Lefty, and maybe we'd get a glimpse of what Phil is really made of.

Mr. 11:26 (the guy who signed his name "FAG", heheh) is obviously another Tiger fanboy who clearly missed the fact that Tiger was nowhere to be seen on Sunday despite a decent round. Sadly, Tiger's emergence ten years ago has brought these types of dunces pouring into the world of golf. True sportsmen acknowledge all the talents of the sport, not just the reigning number one.

The man is back! He didn't hit all that well until Sunday. His putting was dead on which isn't hard at the TPC. As they stated in the on the air the greens are all flat 10 feet from the pin. Sunday's placement did look a bit harder. Lefty was automatic on Sat. within 10ft. He was comfortable and in the zone on Sunday.

It was great to have Sean in contention. Class act and with great career ahead. Rough to see the 17th, 18th but he is strong and will keep his head together. He lost around 600K over the last 2 holes. Oouch! He'll rebound!

hahahaha 7:20 you are as gay as phil mickelson, yes hes good, hes always been good, but hes not cool, and butch's coaching has zero to do with this win, guaranteed.. long live tiger...same thing happened with mickelson last year, and how did it end up? he sucked the rest of the year, just like every other year, why would you like a complete DORK so much?

Nice irony that Tiger finished a stroke in front of that pinhead, Sabatinni, for the tournament.
