Elin gave birth to a baby girl, early Monday morning. The baby is named Sam Alexis Woods, and everyone is doing well. More from Tiger's website. Congratulations, Elin, Tiger, and Sam! We wish you all well!
Eerie coincidence: Phil Mickelson's first child was born the day after he came in 2nd at the U.S. Open at Pinehurst to Payne Stewart.

Isn’t she approximately a month early? Or more? When I heard the news I was a little worried, (I mean, as worried as you can be about a stranger’s baby) but if the baby was having trouble from being premature, I guess there’d be something about that, right?
In the realm of 'what ifs'... What if he had been in a Monday play off at the US Open? Would the USGA have given him the day off?
