Does Tiger Woods have to win the Match Play to keep his win streak alive?
What if Tiger Woods loses the Match Play Championship this week? Is his consecutive win streak over? Does he have to win this week to claim that he went undefeated in 2008? Or can he still claim that he has won all of the regular, stroke play tournaments?

If he stumbles in match play, his streak remains in tact.
Since the match play tournament is a PGA event I don't see how he can claim being undefeated if he were to lose here. He could claim being undefeated in stroke play if it works out that way for him after this, but to claim consecutive PGA wins without winning this seems it would be wrong. And personally, I think he'll win here anyway.
What streak remains intact.... not his win streak, not his tournament win streak. Maybe his stroke play only win streak but that is about it.
Of course this event counts, why would it not?
His loss here last year ended his streak.
