Phil Mickelson wins at Riviera

Phil Mickelson now can boast that he's done something that Tiger Woods has never done: win a PGA event at Riviera in LA. Lefty won by 3 strokes, at -12, after Jeff Quinney had a melt down on the back nine. (More)

By the way, is Tiger's win streak still legit if he skips an event where he has never won?

Sure - I think his win streak is still "valid" - whatever that might mean. Just take these win streaks with a lesser grain of salt when it comes to golf, because you can choose when and where you want to play.

Poor Quinney! It's like the man melts under pressure (LA & FBR).
