The Golf Blog says: Now with the long putter, Adam Scott looks like the golfer we all expected him to be. His swing has always been fundamentally sound, but his putter constantly failed him. The long putter started working for Adam at this year’s Masters, and he’s followed up with strong performances in other tournaments.

Today, however, was a major breakthrough with his first victory–finishing -17–at a World Golf Championship event with 49 of the Top 50 golfers in the world competing. And it was Adam’s first victory with new caddie Stevie Williams, formerly with Tiger Woods. Stevie said it was the “best week of his life,” golf wise. Presumably, he meant it was better than all the other wins with Tiger. Touche, Tiger.

Luke Donald and Rickie Fowler finished second, at -13. Ryo Ishikawa and Jason Day finished at -12. The leaderboard looks like the young guns have taken over. Both Tiger and Phil Mickelson look downright old.
