The Golf Blog says: According to ESPN, Phil Mickelson has joined a group to buy the San Diego Padres. Mickelson grew up in San Diego and found the opportunity too hard to pass up.
Phil explained: “This was a unique opportunity with families that had done this before and know how to do it right and want to get involved in the community.”
The article said that Phil has made over $60 million playing, but much more in endorsements. Sounds like he is living the good life.
