The Golf Blog says: Phil Mickelson won the Phoenix Open, going away with it by shooting a final round 67 to finish -28 for the tourney. Brandt Snedeker made things interesting, but couldn’t close the lead after making an initial charge.

Phil credited his win to an emergency session with Butch Harmon and Dave Stockton. He also said it was his new Callaway Razr Fit Xtreme driver that really gave him a boost this week–and he thinks for the rest of the season. “”But for me, the rest of the year took a turn on Tuesday when I got my new driver. It just changed my whole deal.”

Phil called it a “monumental difference,” noting that the driver produces low ball spin even at a higher loft than his previous drivers.
