The Golf Blog says: It’s not even April and Tiger Woods has already won 3 PGA Tour tourneys out of the 5 he’s played–a scary 60% win rate. His game looks better than it ever did under former coach Hank Haney, who eventually quit from the pressure of trying to fix Tiger’s so-called “big miss” with the driver.

And, while a lot of hard work went into Tiger’s recent success (plus getting healthy with his left knee and Achilles), Tiger announcing his first public relationship since his divorce to Elin Nordegren in 2010 may have something to do with his recent success. Lindsey Vonn is an Olympic gold medalist and four-time World Champion. Having someone like that in your corner supporting you has to be good for Tiger. As the sage Mr. Miyagi in the classic Karate Kid once advised:

Miyagi: What matter?
Daniel: I’m just scared. The tournament and everything.
Miyagi: You remember lesson about balance?
Daniel: Yeah.
Miyagi: Lesson not just karate only. Lesson for whole life. Whole life have balance. Everything be better. Understand?

Well, Tiger Woods has balance now. The rest of the field, beware.
