In Thursday’s foursomes I was paired with Angel Cabrera and we lost 1 down to David Toms and Jim Furyk. On Friday I teamed up with Mike Weir and we shot roughly seven-under par to beat Zach Johnson and Charles Howell 3&1. In Saturday’s foursomes I played with Adam Scott against Tiger and Jim Furyk. Sadly, we never really got it going and ended up losing 4&3. Then in the afternoon fourballs I played again with Mike Weir and we really shot the lights out, making something like 10 birdies in 15 holes to win our match 4&2 against Charles Howell and Lucas Glover. Then in the singles on Sunday I beat Lucas Glover 2 up.

So, how about the team picture? Well, the good news was that we won both fourball sessions and we also won the singles session 7-5. But basically, the foursomes matches really killed us. We got trounced both days and that made it very difficult for us. You know, if you talk about it in cricket match terms, you have various sessions and we just had two very bad ones. I mean, you could say they scored about a thousand runs against us in those two foursomes sessions!
