The Golf Blog says: The days of Phil Mickelson referring to Nike clubs as Tiger Woods’ “inferior” equipment have long since passed. But the questions remain about the equipment, especially now after Nike announced that it is discontinuing its golf clubs. Rory McIlroy appears to be still playing the clubs, except he quickly ditched the Nike putter for a Scotty Cameron putter. He also enlisted a new putting coach. Well, it seemed to work. Rors came from behind to win the Deutsche Bank Championship (the last year DB will sponsor the tourney). Just think how many more tournaments Rory could have won if used the putter he preferred.
