the 9.45 million dollar man

Was there any doubt? VijaySingh won again this weekend (No. 8), at the 84 Lumber Classic. He's now set the record for single season earnings, beating Tiger's record. Vijay has 4 more events to surpass the $10 million mark.

At 41 years of age, Vijay deserves tremendous accolade for becoming the No. 1 player in golf. True, he's not flashy or very exciting, but his hard work and long hours of practice have definitely paid off.

"How do you win 10 million dollars on the PGA tour?"

Practice, Practice, Practice.

Hey Tiger, remember how you used to work on your game like Vijay?

I said it in my last post on the previous topic. I don't particularly root for Vijay, but damn, you have to admire this accomplishment.

Shocking that Vijay pulled out of the AmEx because of the problems his house received due to the latest tournament. He could have put a slap in the face of Tiger by winning (or at least beating Tiger) on a course that Tiger has dominated in prior years. With the number of tournaments Vijay plays in, it isn't surprising that he would take the week off, but with so much money in the prize pool, it would have been a good tournament to play in.

We've started a new blog and would appreciate a link, just in a story - not permanent or in the sidebar or anything. We've linked to you in a story located here: http://thesandtrap.com/archives/swing_thoughts/other_golf_blogs.golf .
