Phil Mickelson quits golf -- for now

After a terrible Ryder Cup performance, Phil Mickelson pulled out of the prestigious AMEX Championship this week. In fact, Lefty has pulled out of the PGA Grand Slam in November, a celebration of the 4 major winners in Kauai, Hawaii, and says he won't play competitively again for the rest of 2006. (More here)

Has his final hole debacle at the U.S. Open completely zapped Mickelson of his mo-jo?

To think Peltz said this guy could beat Tiger on his best day. Not only can't he, now he's proving what we all suspected - he doesn't want to even try!

phil needs a shot of testostrone, but all he is likely to get is a dry hump from smith, a ginsu knife pitch from peltz and an enable job from amy.

sad, sad indeed. to think he was once the pride of the big apple, the aire to the throne at bethpage, the galant knight of augusta, the left bank of the scottish moor..... now he is simply --the man with the biggest boobs on tour.

amy needs to kick his fat ass... out the door... and
back on tour...
till he learns to score...
she will see him no more.

but alas, he will probably wimper like a real pussy all fall and winter and come back out next jan., win a minor tourney and crash into the wall at augusta, then play the us open, crash again, skip the british open (BECAUSE IT HAS NEVER BEEN HIS FAVORITE ANYWAY), get close in the pga and return home to amy's enabling arms.

how depressing.

or perhaps he will shed himself of team phil...
swallow a courage pill...
remember how he got his fill... retire his smile still... and
give the crowd a chill ....
a chill that signals a will...
a will to play...
a will to close the bill...
...the return of the mickelkill!

Phis will now spend his time modeling for Sears new "mansierre". He can't hold Tiger's jock. He is showing his true colors now, yellow
