Ernie Els aims to beat Tiger in Dubai this week
Ernie Els has checked in on his blog, too. He's holding out some hope of beating Tiger this week. Said Ernie:
"Everyone knows how much I love this week in Dubai. The Desert Classic is one of my favourite tournaments of the year and my record in this event always gives me a lot of confidence; in nine appearances I’ve won it three times, had seven top-3s and never finished lower than eighth. Overall I’m 139-under par for the 36 rounds I’ve played in this event. And it’s great to see Tiger out here again. He’s been the best player ever since he came out here and it’s always a pleasure to compete against the best and try to beat the best. If I can go one better than last year, it would be great!"

I would love to see old Ernie challenge Tiger. It will be fun to watch the two of them go at it.
personally i'd rather see gulbis and creamer go at it.
You know what i would like to see? Ernie on the PGA Tour. Come on, Big Easy, you haven't played a tournament in the States yet. Get over here.
I suppose this is a great challenge. Let's see who will win. Great Game!
I'm trying to control my Ernie Lust, but it's not working.
OK. Retief won in Qatar... if Ernie wins in Dubai the South Africans will be 2 for 2 in the Arabian Gulf. How's that for an impertinent observation?
