Ernie Els had surgery to repair a knee injury suffered last week while sailing, according to an ESPN report. Ernie’s out for the season.
UPDATE: Brian Hewitt of TGC reports that Ernie’s injury is a major rupture to the ACL that will require major reconstruction. We wish Ernie well and a speedy recovery.
