Memorial Day 1: the other Lefty
Steve Flesch finally found a putter he liked and is leading the Memorial at -6, although he still has to finish up his first round this morning. Sean O’Hair is one back at -5, followed by Zach Johnson at -4. Then, at -3 are a bunch of players, including Fred Couples, Sergio, Phil, and Bubba Watson.
David Duval is -1, which included an inexplicable 5-putt on the par-5 11th hole after he made it on the green in 2.

It rained on and off most of the night, so the course should be playing soft and easier today. Many of the players are not liking the new raking system for the bunkers, though.
