UPDATE, 6:20: Michelle’s bid to qualify drew so many fans to Canoe Brook C.C., the organizers decided to limit attendance and not admit anyone until someone else left. More from SI. This is not media created buzz, this is fan created buzz. “I think it’s a good thing for girls to see that they can do the same thing as the guys,” said 12-year-old Julia Lista of Rumson.
