Lorena Ochoa posts 9-under 64, sets tournament record
Adding salt to the wound, Lorena Ochoa just erased (DQ’d) Natalie Gulbis’s tournament record by shooting an amazing 9-under 64. Lorena pulled a 3-stroke lead, at -11 after two days. Said Lorena: “It was an amazing day. I really enjoyed it. This is my best round in my country with my people. It was very special day and I will remember for many, many years. Right now, I believe I can do better. I’m really excited for the weekend and hope to keep making birdies.”
