Thursday’s rounds
Paula Creamer and rookie Paige McKenzie, who has her own rookie blog, shot -5 to take the early 1st round lead. Natalie Gulbis, who is still on the course, is at -4. This is only a 3-day tournament, so Natalie has a great chance if she can close with another birdie.

Friday’s rounds
Morgan Pressel made a big move, shooting 4-under to tie for the lead with Paula Creamer and Sherri Steinhauer at -7. Natalie Gulbis lost valuable ground, shooting a 1-over par to go -3 for the tourney. Tourney ends tomorrow.

Saturday rounds
Paula Creamer eked out a 1-stroke victory at 9-under, over second place finisher Julieta Granada. Creamer won for the first time since the 2005 season. Her final round was a bit up and down, with swirling winds and rain. “It was a roller coaster,” Paula said. “I can’t even explain it. I was so up-and-down out there.”
