John Daly sweats way to lead at PGA Championship
Wow. JD suddenly makes an appearance at a major without blowing up. He’s at -3 and in the lead. Can this be shades of Crooked Stick?
After the round, Daly revealed that he played no practice rounds at all this week because “it was too hot.” Instead, he practiced by going to play the slots at a casino. He also said he had no idea how he played so well today and has no idea if he will keep it up tomorrow. But he did say he has a lot more confidence after today’s round.
He also said that he believes the PGA should allow the players to wear shorts! That’s my boy.
