Should Tiger Woods move Roger Federer off speed dial?

If you want to be “in” with Tiger Woods, it’s no secret you have to the best at what you do. If you slip, well, there’s no guarantee you will remain on Tiger’s speed dial on his cellphone. First, there was David Duval — the two used to ride together on Tiger’s jet. Then, there was Annika Sorenstam, who used to get free wedges from Woods.

For the past year and half, there’s been Roger Federer, world No.1 in tennis who is poised to set the all-time wins in majors. Tiger sat in Federer’s box at the U.S. Open and then made a Gilette commercial with the dude.

Well, after Roger was skunked by Rafael Nadal at the French Open in 3 straight sets (no surprise b/c the Spaniard owns the clay) and today was beaten again by Nadal in an epic 5 setter (the longest final in history and perhaps the best match ever) at Wimbledon for Roger’s first loss in 6 years at Wimbledon, are Roger Federer’s days on Tiger Woods’s speed dial also numbered?
