California swing: Pat Perez makes an appearance with 61
The Bob Hope Classic hosted by Arnold Palmer officially opened up the California swing of the PGA season. And it looks like the course at PGA West (Palmer) was playing easy.
Pat Perez shot 61, 11-under. Mike Weir and Bubba Watson shot 62.
I think Pat Perez has never actually won a PGA event. Maybe this will be his week. He seemed like he had a load of talent, but the mental game and injuries later seemed to derail him.
