Sean O’Hair vindicates self and wins Quail Hollow, desite bogey-bogey finish
Last month, Tiger Woods won the Bay Hill Championship after Sean O’Hair squandered a 5 shot lead on Sunday. In the final group were Tiger Woods, Sean O’Hair, and Zach Johnson.
Well, today, the golfing gods got tournabout. Zach Johnson had the 54 hole lead, and Tiger Woods was 2 back. By the end of Sunday, Tiger could only shoot a lackluster even par for the day, while Zach had an even rougher day, shooting 4-over par (with a triple bogey on the card). Sean O’Hair shot a heady 3-under par, despite making bogey-bogey on the final 2 holes. That was still good enough (-11) to beat Bubba Watson and Lucas Glover by 1 shot.
