The Golf Blog back up

Sorry for the technical problem yesterday. Apparently, Twitter had some suspected malware on its site that we retweeted unknowingly and appeared on our Twitter widget. Twitter said it removed the original tweet, and, out of the abundance of caution, we removed the Twitter widget from The Golf Blog. Hope Twitter does a better job of protecting its site in the future. Who knew retweeting could be so problematic?

Anyway, Google gave us a clean bill of health and will be removing its warning soon: “Status of the latest badware review for this site: A review for this site has finished. The site was found clean. The badware warnings from web search are being removed. Please note that it can take some time for this change to propagate.”

Sorry for the inconvenience to all of our loyal readers. But this can serve as a good lesson for everyone on Twitter. Beware what you retweet. Some people on Twitter may be up to no good!
