The Golf Blog says: USGA and NBC are switching the major TV coverage of the U.S. Open to prime time on Saturday and Sunday. Today, the last tee time is 3:50 PDT (6:50 EDT). NBC starts coverage from 4:30 EDT to 11 p.m. Yes, 11 p.m.! This is golf.

Phil’s tee off is at 3:30 PDT (6:30 EDT). Ernie Els and Roy Ishikawa go off at 3:40 (6:40 PDT). And Dustin Johnson (2 time ATT Pebble Beach winner) and Graeme McDowell get the lucky spot of 3:50 PDT (6:50 EDT). Wow, they won’t finish until really late!!!!

One question, Is the USGA risking having the final groups play in the dark? And what about our dinner plans? This will be interesting to watch.
