The Golf Blog: Without Tiger Woods, who will vie for U.S. Open title
The Golf Blog says: It’s U.S. Open week at Congressional CC. Graeme McDowell, who broke through to win his first major at Pebble Beach last year, will try to defend his title. The last successful defense was back in 1988-1989 with Curtis Strange pulling off the back-to-back victories. Perhaps Luke Donald will break through this year? He has the accuracy and short game to do it.
