The Golf Blog says: Reminiscent of Phil Mickelson’s triple bogey on the 4th hole at the Masters that cost Phil the tournament, Tiger Woods self-destructed on the 6th hole after finding the pot bunker. Playing a risky shot forward (instead of just taking his medicine and chipping backwards to set up for the next shot as Graeme McDowell did a few minutes later), and encouraged by his caddie Joe Lacava (who said he saw yesterday’s playing partner Thorbjorn hit the same shot), Tiger made some mental errors with his short game that essentially cost him the tournament.

Phil and Tiger both suffering brain locks on the final day of a major. Who would’ve thought?
